Similar to Rhode Island Casting, Studio 1 Casting Service required an administrative back-end for managing talent, clients and jobs. In addition, the owner also wanted talent to be able to log in and manage their own profiles, upload video and audio samples, and update their information.

Video samples are played from YouTube, where a video ID (or full URL) is entered, and an embedded player is generated as a result.

In the administrative back-end, talent can be notified of a particular job. The first step involves search for talent by criteria (age, ethnicity, distance from job site, etc.); the second step allows the owner to narrow down the targeted talent individually, with a message written to be sent out.

Among the many features of the admin area are the ability to approve newly signed-up talent and clients, search for talent using various criteria, and list the registered talent, producers and agencies.
